Video editing with Max8 ?
I've made a NLE tool witch is, basically, a interface for the QT engine's functionalities (COPY ans PASTE, APPEND...).
Will it work in Max 8 who is only in 64 bit? Will those functionalities be available one day for the VDLL engine.
Or should I stay with Max 7 32 bit.

QT and it's features are very specific and - if I'm not wrong - really hard to replace with other engines. QT is still supported with Max 8 on macOS (and it's more difficult to say the same for Windows because of the famous security problems).
However QT is deprecated both on Windows and MacOS (deprecated on the OS layer, not just "inside" Max), so if you want to create something future-proof QT engine is not your friend.
yes if you need those editing functions, for now you must stick with Max 7, 32 bit, qt engine.
