Video Triggers Video - No video, only audio plays.
I am working with the Video Triggers Video patcher in Max 7.3.5 on a Mac version 10.13.3
The patch will trigger the audio from the video but no video plays in the window.
I also get this error:
getedittime is not available with avf engine
The patch comes with the stand alone application and the MAX patch.
The stand alone App will play the video and audio, but won't recognize my webcam so I'm unable to trigger.
The Max patch will recognize the web cam and trigger the movie, but only the audio plays.
I have tried changing the Jitter engine preference to the quicktime engine, but then I cannot use the webcam I am using for input.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
easiest to get this working, open in 32 bit mode, leave engine as default of avf, modify the jit.qt.movie object by adding "@engine qt" to the object box.

Thanks for this. I tried that approach but was unable to make it work.
Curious if it worked on your end?
I made a new jit.window and was able to get the video going.
The button "restart movie whenever video is triggered (otherwise restart only if movie is finished" also does not work. I created a delay the length of the video so the video doesn't consistently restart when the frame is triggered as a work around for the button.
Its functioning now, but not fully as it was. curious if anyone else could get this patch going?
