weird gen bug

django's icon

Greetings fellow Maxers,

I get a weird error message, when trying to use jit.gen or jit.pix (no error with jit.gl.pix). It says: "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive DeviceHarddisk1DR1."

Gen seems to work after all, but I keep getting the message whenever I send data to the gen object. Anyone knows what's going on?

Cheers, David

PS: I'm on a Windows 7 Notebook, i5, GeForce GT330M...

For anyone running into this problem.
It was my Anti Virus Software that caused the error.

Solved thanks to the great and quick support from cycling74!

Thanks, Dave.

I have the same problem on a Windows 7 install running on a Macbook Pro with Bootcamp.
I don't have any anti-virus.
What can I do?

Ok, it seems a Windows issue related to the SD card reader: I have to either run Max with an SD inserted into it or to disable the card reader from the system properties.

weird.
