What happened to the JS reference for Buffer Object, Dict Object, etc. ?

I have not found any reference to the JS-objects like Buffer, Dict, Patcher, etc., in the new Max 9 documentation. Since they still work in V8 and of course in JS I am a bit puzzled as to where these can be found now… any ideas?

thank you Rob.

these cannot be found in the Max Reference when searching for class Buffer or Max JS API (at least on my System, where RNBO is also not correctly installed and unavailable). Is something wrong with my installation perhaps?

These should show up in the API Reference section of both, the sidebar as well as the documentation window search as shown below.

Note that we have made a dedicated space for them with Max 9 rather than having them mingled with what is now known as the User Guide in order to make using the reference easier and more straightforward.

Thanks for the hint, Florian.

However, these entries are not available in my case, and I am now spotting that the API Reference is ≠ Offline in the Sidebar (see bottom most entry):

API Reference: ≠ Offline

this may also explain why searching for buffer in the Documentation also fails to deliver:

no result in Documentation Window

… and why RNBO isn't available either: (?)

RNBO not available… zero results

Thanks for further info!
If after all you recommend a fresh install, please do let me know which steps to undertake exactly to make sure it's all square (macOS 11.7.10). Thank you again.

OK, for some reason Max is having issues with network requests which might be specific to your setup. I'd recommend to get in touch with our support to look at this in more detail with you.
