Yoga-bodywork using gyroscopes while simple repetitive FCPX editing

    Does someone know if I can control a playhead *in FinalCutProX from Max, in a way or another ? I have hours and hours of 4k videos to select video-frames from it and want to do that in FinalCut because of nice image corrections there... So I want to use the gyroscopes of 2 iphones in each hand to do yoga while editing. I want the age of adapting my body to the computer to be over. (* or trigger shortcuts within Finalcut from Max, which might work aswell since the playhead can move with shortcuts within Finalcut)

      I've never used this, but it might work: http://charlie-roberts.com/midiStroke/
      (use max to send midi to midistroke to map to qwerty key shortcuts in fcp)

      Thanks... but how can it trigger shortcut into within fcp ? Is it because it would be the active application, right ? On another thread ( https://cycling74.com/forums/triggering-key-presses-in-max-msp-send-key-press) , i found another mxj code (near the end of the thread) to send shortcuts aswell, that doesn't have to use midi, but i'm gonna ask aswell there if it could trigger shortcut into within another app, not sure how this whole thing work...

      as I stated I have not used it but, if you read the contents of the link it says "[keystroke translated from midi] will be sent to whatever application is currently in focus"-- so if max is not in focus, but just receiving data (via udp) and transmitting midi, it can be in the background, with fcp in the foreground. best to just try it out.
