Hello Max community! This is the first time I'm having such issues in Max. 

I use this patch to control the LEDs of a Launch Control XL MK2 but Max crashes when I'm changing the color of all 16 pads. Launch Control also doesn't always receive all the data, hence the LEDs aren't always controlled properly. 

I suppose the issue perhaps is that I'm sending too much information instantaneously? Any ideas how to fix it or at least figure out exactly what's causing this? Thanks in advance.

Hi! I was working with one device to split audio clips into 1/16 and distribute parts across 4 tracks, for this I used clip duplication, moving start and end markers and so on... In general, I encountered many problems, from Ableton Live crashes to incorrect operation of the device on some machines. 

Recently I was visited by a thought - What if I make a GUI application (say in Python) that would program a ready-made .ALS file with 4 audio tracks and distribute audio clips across them?! 

Maybe someone can give me a hint on how to create a compatible .ALS file? 

I've already tried a bunch of things using ChatGPT, GROK and other neural networks, but it always gives me incompatible files with various errors...

I am trying to get into RNBO Script, and trying to find a code replacement for

  with fixed arrays, so that’s basically the thing I did with [

 10 10] before. I have some working knowledge in JS but no experience in c++ so I am struggling on the syntax

myarray[0,0] =[10,10];  It gives no errors, so that’s probably right too

But writing out1= myarray[0,0]; doesn’t work.

Setup: I generate Poly Aftertouch in Max, already filtered as much as possible at the output of my function via

I suspect it’s related to timing, bursts, or how 

Does anyone have a simple way to ensure each Poly Aftertouch value is sent only when it changes, without adding noticeable latency?

I can seem to solve this issue I am having with a gen~ patch.

Everything seems to be doing what it should be, except for a weird 'doubled' output that occurs every time the driving/Master phasor~ resets (on beat one). Connecting a live.scope~ doesn't make this issue visually apparent until you connect a what~ and print the output. 

For example, a subdivision of 4 gives me 5 impulses, with beat one sending 2 impulses.

Hi, I have some Jitter visualizations to play in sync with music. Currently I am projecting them the normal way on a 16:9 projector screen. 

For an upcoming event they’re designing a wall behind the stage with raised shapes representing the venue’s logo. They’ve asked me to project visuals only inside these shapes, leaving the rest of the wall blank.

I’ve never done something like this before — what could I use? I saw that it’s possible to do projection mapping in Max using 

.meshwarp, but I’m not sure if it works for this scenario since I’d need to leave certain areas dark. Maybe some sort of mask should be applied? I also don’t quite understand if this is something I can prepare before the event or if it’s mapping that has to be done on site.

Do you have any suggestions on how to proceed?
