Hello, Im using Arduino to get values from sensors into max and I need help with using these values in the right way. I have a MPU6050 and a 20step rotary encoder with pushbutton. I want to use the x and y values to control fx and filter and I use the rotary encoder to recreate a vinyl like effect. 

Getting the right values into max works, and the rotary encoder already performs the way I want it to. Its just the gyro with the effects. Can someone take a look at my max patch? I just started 2 weeks ago so I think you dont have to be a pro pro to be able to help me :) In the max patch I put comments with descriptions of what the elements do and should do! It seems we have some problems for loading and parsing a UTF-16 text file using Max and V8, or JS. 

Both format can be loaded in [text] object with not error... Except the UTF-16 one shows an empty lines after each line. I guess that's the CRLF things etc.

On max 8, i'm trying to make sounds that you might hear in a football stadium.  I'm early on in the project but can't seem to progress all that much. I have made some filtered white noise with frequency and amplitude control, but i'm struggling to go from there.

Right now I have 4 functions that somewhat mimic the sound of a crowd when a goal is scored, as you'll see on goals1.maxpat, but want voices, fans, chanting. And as little use of sampling as possible, with the goal of lots of synthesis.

I'm currently working on a project that using Max. I have to release some versions and, for that, I'm using the Project interface to "Build Collective / Application...". It works really fine, but it takes me a lot of time to be able to release a version and be sure I'm not forgotten something.

So to save me some times, I tried to find a way to automatise and build the project by command line. For the moment, I failed... Is it possible ?

I saw that we can use a patcher with messages ";max openfile ..." ";max buildcollective ..." that will build only a patcher selected but not a project.

I'm working under Windows 10. I want to use batch script to run a build of a project by command lines.

If you have some solutions or test to advise me, I will be grateful.

When making new objects with [thispatcher] and message [script newobject (object name here) @varname $1], whenever I write in a UI object, this sets the scripting name correctly. But if it's not a UI object, the scripting name isn't set in the objects inspector. Does anyone know what's going on here? How can I set the scripting name for non-UI objects with [thispatcher]? Can I set the scripting name for abstractions generated by [thispatcher]?
