Playing around with radiogroup, I noticed that if you click around the very bottom edge of the object, it selects the next, invisible item. So for example if there are only 2 items, it selects item 3, which you can see if you re-size the object to 3. It's also reflected in the output. This happens in both button and check box modes.

I'm working on a patch with some node.js scripts but as the project will grow quickly I would prefer to store those scripts in a separate subfolder. Thats a thing I was used to do a lot for other subdatas like images, json, txt files for qlist and coll.

The problem, as I want my project to be portable without using a standalone, is that those files need either to be in the search path or called explicitely.  I usually managed to do that by calling a loadmess path to a thispatcher then append to filepath search 0...

...but node.js doesn't seems to like this way as it instanciate before the loadmess is called and there is no method to my knowledge to load/reload/change the script file after the instanciation.

So any solution would be welcome but something better actually come in mind... and I would like Cycling team feedback about why it hasn't been done before. I would like to suggest to add an 'include patcher subfolder in searchpath' in the patcher option. Something which would act prioritary to all other loadings and which files are prioritary when there is doubles within other search path. This would save a lot of time and would be very usefull to organise project folder in a more free way. And actually I see no downside in this but perhaps I'm misleading.

i'm continuously experiencing problem loading max by opening a patcher that includes some rnbo~ . quite every time I obtain this:

I have this working max patch for concert purposes. I noticed in rehearsals today that I cannot select certain cues without having to go through the entire cue list because of the counter. is there a way to override the counter? for example, if i needed cue number 7, is there a way I can input this, or at least reset to 0?

I am working on a patch and I have been dealing with a problem for a while now. I abstracted the problematic part to post here. The fact that it uses the bach library is probably relevant.  

I have a system intended to backtrack through a list of fractions backwards, by increasing with a counter the amount that is to be subtracted from the address (index), so that if it receives address 4, it should retrieve address 3, 2, 1, and stop at 0. The address and the list are received by a bach.nth object, which retrieves the list item at the given address. 

Now, if the system worked correctly, starting with index 4, it should retrieve the elements from the list [1/8  1/4  1/4  1/4] in the following order: 1/4, 1/4, 1/8; that is, the values for addresses 3, 2, and 1. Instead, via the system of automatic iteration, it retrieves the values in the order 1/8, 1/4, 1/4; in other words, backwards. 

Do you perhaps know what the problem may be? If I do the iteration manually, one by one, the thing works. But in the way I'm doing it now, the list arrives backwards, as can be seen in the [prepend append] object that collects the fractions into a list. 

Below is the patcher. I marked the steps, that is, what to press (the address: 4, and the list) with numbers, to specify the order in which they should be pressed.

I'm using an sfplay~ box and a tiny contraption using toggles and a gswitch to make it so I can play a preloaded sound on command. This, however, leads to some clicking issues if i try to play the same sound over and over again in a short timespan. I figured buffer(~)ing the sound could do something about it, but I genuinely don't know how to buffer(~) the sound to an sfplay~, so I tried the next best thing, a line controlled fader to ease the gain in and out, but I still hear the clicking. 

Can someone help me? Im going to link the .Rar file folder of it all so you can see what's going on, but, long story short, if you press the keys q, w, e, r, t, y, u or i,  you'll listen to one of the sounds. You can see the subpatcher's A Bb C D0 D1 E F G and look at the sfplay~ contraption. 

If anyone has something to say about it (nothing performance related please 🙄) I'd appreciate it a lot <3
