In my web project I want to dynamically download some audio files from the web and use these files as audio sources. Do I use standard web audio player and then redirect in into RNBO node or is there a better way? Maybe RNBO buffers can somehow be filled with these files?

I want to send four channels of audio from RNBO on the Raspberry Pi to an M-Audio Fast Track Pro audio interface. This audio device is in fact seen as two audio devices in one, each with two channels. ALSA / "aplay -l" lists them as two separate devices. RNBO seems to only be able to output to one of these devices. With etc/asound.conf we have been able to create a multi-device that can be used with jackd, and tested with Pure Data (Pd) and it plays four channels correctly. How do I set this up with RNBO?

I'm experimenting with a patch that uses some of the RNBO examples and has 4 params at root level and around 10-11 more in 2 sub patchers, one for reverb and one that is a granulator object.

For some reason the @displayorder attribute doesn't seem to respond while these two sub patchers are in the main RNBO patch. If I delete them both then I can re-order the root level params perfectly well but if either of the sub patchers is pasted back in then the order gets scrambled in a way that isn't logical.

I will try and rebuild the whole patch but just wondering if this is possibly some kind of bug or if I'm missing something really obvious.

I tried the vst3 export and the @displayorder seems to be working fine for that target.

Also if I just start to build a new random patch with a sub patcher and export to Raspberry Pi it also seems to work so wondering if there is something about my patch that is preventing it from working.

I haven't tried yet with vst exports but I can confirm that at least for the Rasspery Pi export @displayorder has no effect on the browser interface. Though those two issues should not nessecarily be related. 

Just had the same problem, could not figure it out how to solve it. 
Seems that just the web interface is without the correct order.

I'm a long-time modular synth player and I've been getting more in to ~gen.  I'd really love build myself a Eurorack module where I can create various devices using RNBO.  I've used Arduinos and things like that in the past, so I'm not a complete beginner, but I'm still very much a newbie to integrating hardware and software.  

What would be the best platform to be able to build a standalone Eurorack module that I can actually put in my rack and update it (probably via USB) with new patches?  I'll want to be able to send and receive multiple CV signals and also have multiple knobs.  Would I be able to use something like a Raspberry Pi for this?  

If anyone has any links or anything that can point me in this direction, I'd be really grateful!

I wrote an RNBO plugin which essentially works in Logic Pro and in MainStage

and when in the Editor dropdown Controls is selected

All the numeric UI elements from the presets have sliders and the two windows have the same width.

In MainStage, the initial window looks the same as in Logic Pro

but when Control is selected in the Editor dropdown, the window gets narrower and there are no slider controls.

I would like to run a RNBO patch on a rasberry pi and read new samples from folders on an external USB drive.

In Max I'm loading a folder filled with samples into a polybuffer object by using the readfolder message and referencing a folder name. I can choose between the different folders by using a system of folders that stays the same. Then I load individual samples stored in the polybuffer object into a groove object by index. Like this, my samples can change, but the patch stays the same.

There is no polybuffer object in RNBO. So, as far as I understand, it is only possible to load individual files with fixed names, but not folders.

 But there must be a way to do this, right?

I want to build a sampler using RNBO and a rasberry pi. The idea is, to load samples into folders on an USB drive, connect it to the rasberry pi and play the samples with a RNBO patch exported to the rasberry pi.

Right now, I can't figure out, how this could be done in RNBO.

I hope my question is clear and I would be happy to receive some feedback. Thank you in advance!

I've been trying for quite a long time to setup my Raspberry 4 with RNBO, but I'm quite confused and I really don't know what to do. I've followed every step on the Cycling Setup page and on some youtube tutorial, but something's wrong and I don't know what. My raspberry doesn't appear in RNBO's export target window...

The material that I have is : Raspberry pi 4, micro SD card, raspberry HDMI cable, keyboard, monitor.

I have downloaded the Raspberry Image,  version 

, which is supposed to work with my RNBO version (I have Max 9.0.0). I have flashed it on the SD card using the Raspberry Pi Imager. As for the settings, I didn't change the hostname, which was set as "raspberrypi", neither the username, which was set as "pi". I just added a custom password.
