I'm working with my first raspberry pi RNBO patch, and after the patch is exported and the device boots, it is very slow because the machine seems to be doing a software update (apt-get is top in top). This happens every time power is cycled. I've disabled automatic updating and even the daily apt updates.

I think the rnbo software is triggering the apt-get at startup, is there anyway to disable this? I do not want to the system to update itself without my knowledge.

Hello everyone. I'm not a programmer. Just started with RNBO. I am trying to export a device I made. I could export it succesfully to an external. So the sourcecode is fine. But I'm struggling to export it to C++ to build a GUI in Juice later. 

I followed all steps in the guide on GitHub. But I just won't succeed at the cmake .. part. When I enter that command, I get a long red list.

then I get a lot of warnings and at the end it says:

I'm new to Max and RNBO, and I need some help to understand what I do wrong.

I would like clicking a button on the website to trigger a sound from a buffer.

The audio files are loading, as are the buffers, but there seems to be a communication error with the patch <inport>.

I have a Max patch that I use at concerts, to do 

multi-voice granular with live audio input

, I want to be able to do the same thing with a no-laptop solution.

I have little to no experience with DIY hardware programming and I prefer sticking with Max (no PD, C++, ...)

-Which of them would be the pick for me and why?

I notice when exporting an RNBO patch in C++ the "rnbo" folder is no more created.

and of course compiling the code to my daisyseed is returning an  error of missing files:

fatal error: RNBO_Common.h: No such file or directory

I'm trying to recreate the patcher below in RNBO. It's basically a drum sequencer with conditional triggering, but it uses polybuffer~ to trigger random sounds from a loaded folder of any length . I use this patch a lot, so it makes sense for me to try to send this one first to RNBO world, as I would love to have it in hardware version with Raspeberry Pi. I am a huge noob with RNBO.

I looked at the Exp Polyphony Drum Sampler here :

 that does almost the same thing, but it seems to be setup for only six files and uses a polybuffer from the Max patcher which, if I'm not mistaking, will no be available once I export my patch to a VST or AU target for example. Is there a way to say to the export target : load a folder, and make a list with all the files paths in it, and then use those paths to dynamically change the buffers content ?

Also, I tried to export the Exp Polyphony Drum Sampler to AU in order to test it with Logic Pro but even if it's properly installed and recognized by Logic I cannot load it. Is this due to sample depencies ?

I created a Max patch for a sound installation that made a functioning timepiece using the cpuclock object. I want to create a similar patch in RNBO that can operate on a Raspberry Pi that has a clock module installed, but to my knowledge there is no equivalent to the cpuclock object. 

Is there a way to bring the RP's CPU clock data into RNBO?
