Unlike traditional delays, Auren processes the audio spectrum per frequency band, allowing you to sculpt complex textures, evolving echoes, and shifting harmonics with unprecedented precision.

It features two independent delay taps and can process two separate audio sources, giving you flexible routing options:

Each delay tap includes its own multi-band sequencer, where you can draw custom delay curves, apply randomized patterns, add smooth movement to delay times/feedback gains.

For delay/tap one, you can add and experiment with spectral frequency shifting to create lush, dynamic soundscapes. You can also add smooth movement or apply randomized patterns to achieve a more dynamic effect.

The device also includes a built-in reverb section for adding depth and space.

” references. The user can move freely through this space: zoom, rotate, navigate, and click on an object to reveal its neighbors at various depths. An information panel and a legend provide context and details about the selected object. Different view modes (Detail, Hybrid, Structure, Auto) offer varied perspectives on the network. A search engine makes it easy to quickly locate a specific object, while tag filters and color settings allow on-the-fly display adjustments. Designed for smooth, intuitive navigation, the visualizer works equally well on mobile and desktop, making the exploration of the Max ecosystem both immersive and engaging.

The project employs HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for an interactive interface, with Three.js for 3D rendering and OrbitControls for navigation. WebGL ensures smooth graphics performance. Data loads asynchronously for a seamless user experience, and Canvas overlays 2D elements on the 3D view. The project offers various visualization modes and custom shaders for enhanced visuals, supports responsive design for mobile and desktop, and emphasizes performance optimization for smooth interaction.

We want to dedicate this work to Darwin Grosse. It is related to Julien Bayle’s project

Spectral Wobbler – Frequency-Domain Modulation with Character

 is a unique audio effect that operates in the frequency domain, creating smooth, continuous modulations across the sound spectrum. Rather than applying standard pitch or amplitude changes, it uses a Low-Frequency Oscillator (LFO) to shift frequency content by dynamically offsetting each bin’s source — effectively "wobbling" the spectrum itself.

By selectively reading from neighboring frequency bins (based on the LFO), this technique produces a rich range of sonic textures — from subtle, analog-style movement to extreme, detuned warping. Unlike conventional vibrato or chorus effects, 

 allows fine control over which parts of the spectrum are affected, with seamless crossfades between low, mid, and high frequency bands.

Additionally, setting the LFO speed to zero freezes the modulation at a fixed offset, turning the effect into a spectral frequency shifter. This can produce a surreal, metallic tone that works especially well on harsh guitars, dense pads, or experimental textures.
