8.1.6 osx and win bugs
Hi, there are too much bugs in this version...
You're right, the text color of [live.gain~], that seems to be a new bug.
For the other things:
- live.line in Audio Status Window: that's not new. Why would you get rid of the livegui lib? To make an app lighter? That's a good reason. Then, just hack the Audio Status window, make your own without the live objects.
- "Why these?" Well, these are just the factory "externals". I think the Max application has been organized like this since... I can't remember... I'm pretty sure it was already like this in Max 4.
- your mubu package: I hope other users can help you with that... Maybe someone else got the same problem...?

yes I know that the live.line in the Audio Status window is not new, but before there was no libgui.mxo in the extensions folder inside the m4l folder... And I don't haved to remove nothing.
And yes, normally I remove the unused folders to make the app lighter. If only one obj and folder is inside, it's ok, but from now it's different....I'll let it be...but why that, wasn't it fine before?
In the externals "ad" folder there was only the "ad" and the "mididriver" folder, not free objects of other nature. The presence of this objects can also be fine, but for sure they should be in other positions and in a folder anyway...if removed they give a empty gui...
Mubu folder: if I remove it, I don't have the yellow messages anymore, but why I have to remove it?...it's like all the other packages I have, (and I have all of them, only one is a older 32bit one...) but they don't give errors, and this Mubu Package is always updated (vers 1.2.1 I guess)... All that's strange, and doesn't happened in the 8.1.5 version...then there should be some bugs...or unwanted changes.

This are not many bugs compared to the feature / fix list they presented with this release.Though, I didn't notice the folder structure changes or any problems induced by that.
I think due to many changes in 816 one should wipe all previous preferences , databases etc and start fresh.
By the way I do it every day per script, as I don't like any leftovers, logs etc
