Ableton 11.06 M4L Plugin Crash

    Sep 02 2021 | 8:14 am
    Hi Guys,
Wondering if anyone could help. I have recently started using a plugin in Ableton https://maxforlive.com/library/device/7516/gmaudio-ducker
When i have a couple of instances running in the project, Ableton just shuts down without any notice. Would really appreciate any help as i would like to be able to use this plugin.
My System specs: Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz Installed RAM 16.0 GB Display Geforce GTX 770
I have tried Deleting the Cycling74 folder as suggested by Ableton and also using the Standalone version of Max with no success. My Ableton install is default and i dont seem to get errors using any other M4L devices.
    Here is the crash log: ******************************************************************************* * * * Exception Analysis * * * ******************************************************************************* *** WARNING: Unable to verify checksum for MaxPlug.dll *** WARNING: Unable to verify checksum for gl2.mxe64 *** WARNING: Unable to verify checksum for jitlib.dll *** WARNING: Unable to verify checksum for focusriteusbasio64.dll *** WARNING: Unable to verify checksum for WrapPersist64.dll *** WARNING: Unable to verify checksum for SoundID Reference VST Plugin.dll KEY_VALUES_STRING: 1 Key : AV.Dereference Value: NullPtr Key : AV.Fault Value: Read Key : Analysis.CPU.mSec Value: 6124 Key : Analysis.DebugAnalysisManager Value: Create Key : Analysis.Elapsed.mSec Value: 26245 Key : Analysis.Init.CPU.mSec Value: 233 Key : Analysis.Init.Elapsed.mSec Value: 5478 Key : Analysis.Memory.CommitPeak.Mb Value: 346 Key : Timeline.Process.Start.DeltaSec Value: 523 Key : WER.OS.Branch Value: vb_release Key : WER.OS.Timestamp Value: 2019-12-06T14:06:00Z Key : WER.OS.Version Value: 10.0.19041.1 Key : WER.Process.Version Value: 1.0.0.1 CONTEXT: (.ecxr) rax=0000000000000003 rbx=0000000000000258 rcx=0000000054cfb7f0 rdx=0000000000000000 rsi=ffffffffffffffff rdi=0000000000000001 rip=000000002a3732d2 rsp=000000000014eeb0 rbp=000000000014efb0 r8=fffffffffffffffe r9=0000000000000255 r10=0000000000000020 r11=0000000000000010 r12=0000000000000008 r13=0000000000000002 r14=0000000000000001 r15=0000000000000000 iopl=0 nv up ei ng nz ac pe cy cs=0033 ss=002b ds=002b es=002b fs=0053 gs=002b efl=00010293 jit_gl_graph+0x32d2: 00000000`2a3732d2 f3430f101c84 movss xmm3,dword ptr [r12+r8*4] ds:00000000`00000000=???????? Gday Jono,
Rob here from GMaudio & Fixation Studios. There has been a couple reports of the same sort of crash. I have recently sent out an update so I suggest trying that, some people have reported that after cleaning up there computer the crashes have stopped but ultimately this an issue with the current versions of Live and Max and the next update should have it sorted. There is a public beta of Max 8.2 that has fixed a few issues with jitter (of which my device and the native LFO uses) so that should remedy the crashes but the next public release of Max & Live should be solid again. Live 11.0.6 is just not very stable at the moment.
