I have been trying to record a clip with a preset length using the fire record_length function. But it does seem that the recorded loop length is modified by Live.
For example, in a 4/4 session, call fire 5 (for a 5 beat clip) creates indeed a 5 beat clip but the loop end marker is set so that the loop length is 4 beats.
Another example, call fire 6 in a 4/4 session creates a 8 beat clip. It looks like Live automatically adds 2 beats.
Is there a workaround to avoid this ?
