codesigning breaks wacom functionality

Hey all I've been all over here the past few weeks with my codesigning/notarization woes. This is the latest thing I can't seem to get around: codesigning with hardened runtime enabled seems to break my patch's wacom functionality. It works even after I've codesigned all the mxos and frameworks individually, its only after I go to codesign the .app itself that it breaks. I'm using the s2m.wacom object. I'm on MacOS 10.5.5 and I'm exporting from max 8.1.1 because the s2m.wacom object doesnt seem to work at all in standalones out of 8.1.5 I'd be hugely grateful to anyone with a hunch on this-- Anyone have trouble with 3rd party externals in notarized standalones?
