I cannot figure out why this happens. I painted "jit.lcd" in red (255, 0, 0) but if those values goes through "jit.unpack" ,the values change (234, 51, 35). It would be really helpful if I could have any idea of how to make it correct. Thank you so much.

due to the internal libraries used by jit.lcd for drawing, for efficiency this is linked to your display device color profile.

On my laptop I have selected a different color profile from the default (in System Preferences - Displays - Color) setting it to the sRGB IEC(bunch of numbers) profile because I read it would improve performance for certain apps (I can't say for sure whether that's true). But as the result of changing this profile, I get back the expected results from jit.lcd.

We have this issue ticketed, and I'll put in a bump to investigate a way to avoid this color profile conversion when working with jit.lcd (and jit.mgraphics)

Thank you @ROB RAMIREZ This really helps. Now I am seeing the same values after I switched the color profile to sRGB.
