Copy Paste Image from Photoshop to a jitter matrix
That's probably looks stupid like that, but that's should be very cool to have an object for that. a one, that can access to that Image buffer and transmit the data in a jit.matrix. and vice versa, an object allowing to copy the content of a matrix for past it in photoshop, do you think that this is possible to do ? I will try
I'm all for it but is it that difficult to just to "save as..." and read with Jitter?
You might consider Photoshop's scripting options to save images. [shell] has the ability to launch external scripts. Maybe you can launch a PS script via [shell] which saves the current image in PS to a folder that is watched by Max? The effect would be opening your current image in PS via Max.
Here is some info on launching external apps with [shell]:https://cycling74.com/forums/control-common-applications-with-max/
i am claiming that photoshop needs a midi in since 20 years, but no one listens. :)
I took photoshop in exemple, but it could be anything in fact. this is more a question about the image clipboard.
hi,
on mac, you can use the terminal program: pngpaste to store the file on the disk and import the file into a matrix.

or you can use the preview.app controlled by an applescript.
best,

finally, I did a mxj, it's almost finished
