Anyone getting a mismatch type error when streaming the Kinect feed from freenect.grab into any of the cv.jit objects?

I've tried this guys fix but didn't work for me?:

I've running the latest Max 7.3.1 on a brand new Macbook Pro 13" Touchbar using a Xbox360 Kinect.

Anyone getting a mismatch type error when streaming the Kinect feed from freenect.grab into any of the cv.jit objects?
It's really grinding my gears right now!
