Delay unit
Hello people
I'm new to Max and I am getting into max through going to uni, this stuff is on another level of language any tips to get too grips faster with building inside of MAX , would be greatly received with gratitude.
I've done some basic tutorial on MSP and built a few different delays.
I'm looking to build some type of delay unity with multiple of delays or several elements with different timing, set with in one patch.
Any help would be grateful with Tutorial or patches to deconstruct.
Warm Regards, Arron.
1. Launch Max.
2. Open a new patcher window
3. Click on the magnifying glass in the upper right-hand portion of the patcher toolbar
4. Type "delay" into the text box that appears
5. Read through what the search returns. I would pay particular attention to the "Documentation", "Patcher and Snippets" and "Examples" sections.
That technique will work well for your next question, too.
Oh, right. My gen~ tutorial on ringing and pitched delay networks, too (I never remember my own stuff).
Please note that the effects achieved in this tutorial can only be done using gen~, since it involves delay times of less than a signal vector (a limitation of vanilla MSP).

@RAJA : Nice example! Haven't used the subharmonic message yet, kinda wondering how a multichannel stutter would sound now
Thanks all, much appreciated for the help
