Emotiv Epoc+ EEG headset- labeling and exporting data for node to node.script
I am extremely novice when it comes to coding in general let alone with two integrated system and I could use some assistance. I am currently working with the Epoc+ headset to control various objects and parameters in Max 8. I am using node.js to get the data from the headset which I can do fairly easily now, but I am having issues finding documentation on what to label sensors and how to funnel that information into the node.script. The node.script debug tool states the node process is running yet I see no data streaming. Any info and guidance would be tremendous. Thanks
Hello Zach, I am also trying to make the Emotive Insight work with Max, as I just begin to dig for resources, examples, it seems not so clear. Can you please explain the work flow of how you had connected the headset to Max? Did you purchased a license from Emotive and install the Cortex V2 ? Have you give it go with the older community SDK on github ? And work with the mind your OSC ? Hopefully we can worked it out together, and make a ready to use patcher for future maxers, as this device has been around for a while, I just can't believe there's not a simple implementation out there.
