I've just started using Jitter to read a 3D object (with jit.gl.model) and then sample it into points (using jit.gl.mesh). I was wondering if there is any way to extract the coordinates of each of these points (or at least the one from the meshes of the object, or the object itself), maybe using Jitter matrix.

sure, any of the standard matrix objects will work: jit.iter, jit.spill, jit.matrix and the getcell message, jit.cellblock, jit.print, etc.

Hi, thanks for the advice. I've tried with jit.cellblock for instance but I don't understand what represents the array I get... (see the patch below)

To explain what I'm trying to do : I would be able to exit a 3D matrix with three planes of data— the x, y, z coordinates of each vertex that the object is made of. I want to extract those coordinates to be able to approximate its surface area or volume. But maybe there's a tool in Jitter that I have not found yet that allows us to get those infos.

Thanks a lot Rob, this is really helpfull! I've missed the "jit.pack" and his @jump attribute, I'll start from there and see where I can go with this.
