Hi! This one is probably easy... I've been using Max 8 on my Macbook Pro with a spiffy SSD, and it works like a dream. No problems (except my own coding weaknesses...) I just inherited a cheapy HP Pavilion laptop (probably one of those $200 "deals" at WalMart) from my mom-in-law so I can test some networking patches. Super low specs, but nothing prohibitive (it's a 2018 budget model). I did a factory reset on the laptop, so everything is fresh, other than the Max 8 installation. The startup time takes 5+ minutes. Is it really just because I'm using a cheap device with a 5600 RPM drive? It still seems super excessive. I thought it was just freezing on startup, but it does eventually get there. Are there things I can disable in the startup process to speed things up? It's just about as slow on subsequent startups, and after OS reboots.

FWIW, mc and node.js are game changers... awesome new features since I last used Max during the Max 6 years.
