FREE patch for you to use! Andy's Analogue Clock / Alarm / Timer

Andy Maskell's icon

For those of you who would like the idea of having my analogue clock display as part of your project, I am happy to share the patch with you:

It looks much better when it's running!

The clock will follow your system time.

The clock face hand colours are:
Yellow: Hours and minutes
Red: Seconds
Green: Alarm (goes around twice for 24 hour clock setting)
Timer: Blue (forms an arc, left semi-circle for first hour, right semi-circle for hours 1 to 10)

The alarm can be set by clicking and/or holding its Increase and Decrease buttons or by dragging the mouse up or down over its minutes display or the outer part of the clock face. The alarm will activate automatically after 5 seconds and will play a GS bell sound via midiout when the time is reached. To silence and reset the alarm, click on the digital clock display, its Reset button or the alarm off radio button. The alarm will also reset itself after ringing for 1 minute.

The timer can be set by clicking and/or holding its Increase and Decrease buttons or by dragging the mouse up or down over its minutes display or the inner part of the clock face. The timer will activate automatically after 5 seconds. If a time is set, the timer will count down to zero and will play a GS chime sound via midiout. If the timer is activated with a time of zero, it will count upwards (elapsed time) for up to 10 hours. To silence and reset the alarm, click on the digital timer display, its Reset or the timer off radio button. The timer will also reset itself after chiming for 20 seconds.
