getting a "reference name symbol" for "; max buildcollective"

Hi,

I'm using the message (in a message box) to lock my maxpat: "; max buildcollective reference-name ". My problem is to get the reference-name . For that I currently open my maxpat before via "; max openfile reference-name maxpat-to-be-opened ". Then I can use the reference-name to build an *.mxf. Here's the question: Is there a way to generate the reference-name for an already open maxpat, so that I don't have to close my open maxpat and open it again via "; max openfile reference-name maxpat-to-be-opened " ?
