Help using the Emotiv headset with udprecieve

I am extremely new to MaxMSP, and need help sending data from an Emotiv brain sensor headset to a patch.

From what I can make out, the patch (made by someone else) is set up to receive raw data from a variety of brain sensors, using udprecieve to get the data and apply it to the rest of the code. However, it seems that I have to add in where udprecieve gets that data, which would be from this Emotiv headset.

the udprecieve argument is currently set to 1530. I'm not sure what that means or whether it should be changed based on what brain sensor im using.

There is also a software called Mind Your OSCs which is supposed to Send EPOC+/Insight data as OSC packets to programs like Max/MSP & PureData. I'm not sure how it implements into all of this, but its a free download if you want to check it out.

I am truly lost here, and I know that I probably dont know enough to form a coherent question, but even a guidance to some tutorials or a point in the right direction would be much appreciated.
