you can observe time instead of banging metro.

then manipulate time only when pitch bend input changes.

Could you send me the patch? I tried to build it, but something doesn't work.

live.object: Cannot set negative Songtimes

your problem is probably the way you want to manipulate song position.

But maybe you could insert limit to negative numbers.

that worked out. But as soon as I have pitch bend input the song position jumps to the beginning. 

Is it possible to have this mechanism from the current song position?

insert float at your outputs to check all.
