I didn't find out any solutions so that I would like ask here if it is ok for you. As the above topic, I need to open all speakers automatically while people open the patcher. I did try with buttons, however, my cooperators hope that I can design with something automatically open for them. And .....I hope I can get an answer here. Thank you so much.

You probably mean ezdac~ and ezadc~ objects.

Why use all that many "speakers" at all ?

there is allways a chance one user would click on one of them and so turn them all off

you could also use plain adc~ and dac~ objects too,

which are more adequate if one needs to assign differnt hardware outputs to some channels.

it is not so easy to safely turn audio on after initialisation.

There could always be issues when auto - turning dsp on using loadbang,

if preferences are corrupt, driver not found etc.

But that changed to better since last max versions, 4,6 was terrible.

But even then with few seconds delay , and organised loading of other stuff, being plugins,

GUI, presets etc, one could 100 % safey turn dsp on.

But that was not the question - about safety.
