How to use Vizzie Recordr?

Hello,
I just tried out Vizzie in Max for Live --Wow this is super simple, and looks awesome!
I'll probably want to export stuff at some point, and I see there is a Recordr module.
I've hooked it up like this. I picked a folder on the Recordr. Then I started the Playr, then hit record on Recordr. When I look in the folder I chose, there's nothing there. Is there something I'm missing here?

Thanks,
Ben

I've had issues with this too. The file is sometimes in my Max folder and sometimes in my Applications folder. I've found that if I want to select a destination that is already queued when I click 'choose directory' that I reselect that destination anyway.
Also you can always search your computer for "Movie-yy.mm.dd"

I think I may be having a different problem than you are. I open ableton, stick a max audio effect in, grab a vizzie playr and recordr, hook them up, stick a video into the playr, choose a folder in the recordr, hit record, and nothing shows up in the folder I chose! Then... I go to the help patcher for Recordr, which is hooked up exactly how I had it hooked up before, except for one difference: there is a toggle which also hooked up into the left inlet of the Recordr (the same inlet that the Playr goes into). I choose a folder in the help-patchers' Recordr, hit the toggle, and it works! Then I copy from the help patcher to my patch, and it still works! Yay!
So it must be the toggle I needed! Close ableton, reopen, drag in Recodr, Playr, hook them up, load a file into Playr and choose a destination in the Recordr, THIs time with the toggle to start recording. and... Nothing.
I go to the help patcher, load file and select destination and... it works! Start a new patch without using the help-patcher first, and it still works! Close and reopen Ableton, and then it stops working again until I do the help-patcher thing.

So I know now that I can get it to work: if I just try to record something in the help patcher first, then things work. This is very strange! Maybe Vizzie will not be so easy after all. O well.
