I just need this simple device to save it's set parameters... :(

Long story short, I just need this device to save its parameters so they'll remain intact when I relaunch my set:

Max Patch
Copy patch and select New From Clipboard in Max.

This device works like so:
- It's just a big button that lets you control track Arm/Disarm via envelope
- Drag it onto a midi track
- Create a blank clip
- Add an envelope to Arm/Disarm track

Now, I think this next part is actually kind of a bug, but it's exactly the functionality I'm looking for.

- Drag the device to ANY other track and the big stupid button will STILL control the arm/disarm button of the original track it was dropped onto. THAT IS PERFECT. THAT'S WHAT I NEED. That is, it'll do that until you close Ableton, at which point it will stop doing that.

Is it possible to - I dunno - tell the device to save whatever track it thought it was controlling to a variable or something so that functionality can be persistent? Or even better, add a tracklist dropdown to it so I can specify which track it's controlling manually? Whatever is easiest.

Anyone that can help out, man, I'll be hugely grateful. Just point me to your donate button and I'll give what I can.
