I'm using two jit.gl.text3d (one for the "start" text and the other for the "target" text) and I'm trying to create an interpolation between them by using jit.xfade and then displaying the result matrix in a jit.gl.mesh.

-the differents triangles's opacity seems wrong once interpolate (but everything is fine when using draw_mode "point")

-if there's multiple letters in my "target" text, only the last is being displayed.

the second issue is because jit.gl.text outputs a matrix per letter of the current text string, rather than a single matrix of all letters. you can fix this with a little abstraction around jit.concat, and I've updated your patch with this below:

however the more fundamental issue is that you are crossfading mesh geometry of differing dimensions, and this will not work. the easiest solution I can think of is to have 2 xfaders, with each of the inputs reversed (so for xfade 1, text a goes to input 1, and text b goes to input 2, for xfade 2 that is reversed). as you crossfade, send xfade 1 from input 0 to input 1, and xfade 2 from input 1 to input 0. at the same time fade the opacity of the mesh attached to xfade 1 out, and the opacity of the mesh attached to xfade 2 in. or something like that.
