Is it possible to use MPE Track output to send MIDI on various channels ?

I'm still confused about MPE. Nonetheless, I thought the MPE ability of Live 11 would allow to output MIDI messages to different channels within one track. Is this possible ?

MPE is Midi Polyphonic Expression. If anything, it is the opposite of what I think you are trying. It takes midi from multiple channels and combines them for use of a single MPE instrument. If I play a 3 note chord, MPE assigns 1 channel to each note so that each note has its own pitch bend and controller set.

Well… that’s exactly what I thought it was.

software sometimes tends to show stuff to the user which doesnt actually happen or the other way round.
in physical world, mpe mode is entered as soon as one controller or one receiving device has been set to at least one mpe zone by the user, even is the other side does not understand it. with a sequencer program in between (or with midi 2.0) it is becoming a bit more complicated, but i would check for that (i.e. does your controller and synth plug-in both support it and have it enabled?)
