jit.gl.pix no longer works within MAX 7.1 32bit mode
I'm running MAX7.1 on a MAC pro 2 ghz intel core i7, with Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB, OSX version 10.9.5.
After experimenting with pixel processing shaders in jit.gl.pix (MAX7.1) for a couple of weeks with some very nice results the jit.gl.pix object stopped working when I boot MAX 7.1 in 32 bit mode. I really don't know what caused it. It just gives me a white screen of death when I start the rendering. All other open gl based objects seem to work just fine. It's not a specific patch that doesn't work it is the jit.gl.pix object in general that doesn't work anymore in MAX 7.1 32bit mode.
The jit.gl.pix object works within MAX7.1 when I boot in 64bit mode
The jit.gl.pix object works within MAX6.1.7 in both 32bit and 64 bit.
I already reinstalled MAX 7.1 but this doesn't fix the situation.
I've included two screen shots. One of the not working situation in MAX 7.1 32bit and one of a working situation in MAX6.1.7 32bit.
Any help?
The jit.gl.pix.kaleido patch is working for me in both 32 and 64 bit modes using yosemite 10.10.5 on a macbook pro 2.6ghz i7 with 16gb ram. Did you try rebooting your computer?
I did a reboot and SMC and PRAM reset.
It worked fine on my machine, OSX version 10.9.5 to but it just stopped doing, like all other patches that include a jit.gl.pix object when booted in 7.1 32bit, after making some patches.
Maybe this corrupted some source code? Any developers around?
