Jitter & Max incorrect resolution with Atomos Ninja V
The HDMI output of an NVIDIA graphics card on Windows 10 is feeding the HDMI input of an Atomos Ninja V. The resolution of the Ninja V display is set to 1920x1080 (native). For some reason Max sets the fullscreen resolution of windows on the Ninja V as 1280x720. I've tried every available refresh rate on the Ninja V and no matter what the fullscreen resolution Max sets is 1280x720 despite the Ninja V being set to 1920x1080. When recoding a video of the screen capture the output file is 1920x1080 but the screen that it's capturing is 1280x720.
Anyone have ideas how this can be solved so that I can record at 1920x1080?
my complete guess is that you have some sort of display scaling enabled in your OS display preferences and this is affecting the output.
Your guess was correct. Windows display settings was scaling the device. Thanks Rob.
