Job position: Senior Max Developer

this is Florian from Impulse Audio Lab. We are looking for a Senior Max Developer, this could be a permanent position but also a freelancing collaboration would work for us - both part and full time. Please see details below - and get in touch if you have any questions! :-)

Who we are
Impulse Audio Lab is an audio company based in the heart of Munich. We are an interdisciplinary team of experts in interactive sound design and audio software development, working on innovative and pioneering projects focused on sound.

These could be your future responsibilities

• Handling complex Max projects, from conception and architecture to implementation

• Take over existing Max projects and guide the team on how to improve and extend the projects

• Build standalone Mac and Windows applications

• Working on both client-oriented projects as well as our own growing product portfolio

• Sharing your experiences and knowledge with your colleagues

This should be you

• You have multiple years of experience with Max as a developer, including Gen, JavaScript, Max projects and standalone Max applications

• You have experience with Digital Signal Processing

• You are a team player and are also comfortable taking responsibility for your own projects

• You are able to work collaboratively, from requirements to acceptance
  
  

This could be a plus

• You have experience with building Max externals in C/C++

• Programming experience with audio software in C/C++, using frameworks such as Qt or JUCE and Audio Plug-in APIs

• Experience with typical software development tools (Git, unit testing, build systems, automation, debugging, etc.)

• Production experience or other practical experience with music, such as playing an instrument
