When using live.gain~ for automation in Live, it records pretty large steps between numbers. For example, while automating a track's volume, steps between automation points are as large as 2dB. See image and simple M4L device attached.

I want these steps to be much smaller, or at least interpolate between each automation point. I've tried the ramp time (ms), refresh interval, and steps attributes with no luck. I'm sure there's a simple fix!
