Hi all, I made my first max for live dvice the other day using vboehms port of Rings for maxmsp (

 ) and when I send it to friends they cant seem to get it to run on their own computer. Also, I can only run one instance of the device inside of Live, or else all the settings get changed to be the same. Can anyone help? I'm sure im doing some weird round about coding that I shouldnt but I dont know

m4l-device-wont-work-on-other-peoples-computers-only-can-run-in-one-instance

you have to freeze the device to include the external. (edit the device, click on the snowflake save it).

M4L device wont work on other peoples computers, only can run in one instance
