Max 8.6 Consistently Crashes on macOS for me
To whom this may concern,
I downloaded the new Max 8.6 update yesterday, and had a good run using it for doing some RNBO patching work. This morning, I opened the application again to do some more work, and my RNBO project was starting to get bigger, and suddenly, the app crashed. I first thought "no worries, that happened here and there". The problem is that now, whenever I open the application, it stays open for about 3 seconds everytime until crashing again. This timing from opening to crashing is the same no matter what I do. I tried opening it up from a project file, I tried restarting my computer, and I even deleted the app to re-install it, but the same exact problem is occurring. My mac is running macOS Ventura 13.1. It is an M1 MacBook Pro 16 inch. I wanted to bring this into the forum cause I was wondering if this is a problem for other mac users with the new update, or if there is something that I missed with my troubleshooting of this issue. Thanks to whoever can help me with this problem.
I'd recommend starting out by resetting Max's Preferences. Find instructions here:

If that doesn't help, drop a note to Support via the Support Request Form:

Thanks for the reply.
That seemed to work. Thanks so much for your help!
