I am willing to pay someone to do a Max For Live device for me.

I have already made a M4L device, but it was simpler and quicker to do, and this time I really don't have time. Time is money, right ?

This device doesn't have any button on knob. It just automatically detects stuff happening in Ableton and acts upon it.

- detect when any clip is being triggered recording manually (when the clip slot starts blinking and prepares itself to record when clip quantization will be on time)

- automatically trigger play for this clip slot, so that it stops recording when the time indicated in clip quantization passes.

What is called "clip quantization" is the number of bars indicated on the upper left corner of Ableton Live 10. It represents when should a clip triggering occur, if the user pushes the button a bit too early.

Basically, 1 Bar = 4 kicks so in this case (with 120BPM and 1Bar quantization), pushing the play clip button just after the 1st kick, or just after the 4th kick, or just before the 5th kick (of 2nd bar) happens, will have the same effect : the clip will be 1bar long and will keep playing.

Of course, if I change the quantization to, say, 4Bars during my live, then all NEW clips I will record must be 4Bars long (but not the ones I already recorded of course, what is recorded stays as it is).

Here is an example to make it clear. It's a tiny video showing what I'm manually doing now, and that I want to get automatized by the M4L device. Remember, the first click to trigger recording will be manual, the second one to trigger playing must be automatically made my the M4L device.

I searched a lot for professionals on the internet, didn't find anyone. I am very serious here, so if someone is interested and ready to do it well and quickly (around 1 week), please contact me. It's really the last thing I need to have my perfect setup, so I'll be happy to pay well if the job is done well.

Oh and yeah, I don't care at all about the looks of the device. It will be on the 9th track of my setup, reserved for Max For Live devices that don't act on their track, so I won't ever see it (the APC40 has 8 tracks, that's more than sufficient for me). I just want it to perfectly fulfil its purpose.
