maxurl connection timeout blocking future connections?

Hi all,
I'm on Max 7.3.4 and I've been working with this patch to get images from instagram: https://cycling74.com/tutorials/use-maxurl-to-create-a-realtime-instagram-collage
It works great for the first two hours or so, then I get a connection timeout from maxurl and the only way to make it work again seems to quit Max an launch the whole thing again. Note that just quitting the partch is not effective. It seems as if maxurl's connection timeouts block any future connection.
Thoughts?

I saw some patches but seems that no longer works, were you able to solve the time out and worked with the API integration recently? Thanks!!!
