Not sure what the reason for this error is, since this message does work to other mc objects (file a bug-report maybe?). But as a small workaround you could include an [mc.sig~ @chans 2] to control the routing of the [mc.selector~]. Like so:

Can't test right now but there were similar bugs with other mc. * objects in the beginning that had problems with float/int conversions
