I have to submit a maxpat for an assignment due tomorrow (4 Jan) and I'm not getting any sound from the AU DLS Synth. The output is on in the MIDI Setup window and it's mapped correctly. Even if I open up the pgmout and noteout object reference windows and try a test in there I cannot get any sound. There is sound coming from ezdac object, so I know it's not an audio issue. Has anyone experienced this before and know what to do. I'm running Max 8.3.3 on OS X 10.15.7. I am running Max and system audio through MacBook Pro Speakers. Thanks for any swift help you can provide. Matt

Keep in mind AU DLS Synth used with noteout will generate sound directly to your System audio output, not through ezdac~ etc. To debug:

1. System audio working? (sound from youtube / sound file / etc?)

4. check the volume of the virtual synth (set it to 127 with ctrl 7)
