Problem architecture Sigmund et max 8.2
Hello,
Apparently, Sigmund (64) does'nt work anymore with max 8.2.
A failure type : "problem of architecture"
Some informations ?
Mac OSX Big sur. M1. Macbook pro 13 "

Perhaps problems with M1/Big Sur?

If you are on an Apple M1 machine, and need to use 3rd party externals that have not been updated for this new architecture, you can run Max 8.2 in Rosetta 2. In the Finder, select the Max.app, then go to File->Get Info and select "Open using Rosetta" in the Info window.

Thank you very much. It seems to work now by using Rosetta as you said. But I still don't understand why it worked with MAx 8.1.11 without calling Rosetta... But no problem if it's ok now...
Max 8.1.11 had no native M1 support and did run anyway in rosetta.
Hi there, I am trying to run an old patch which uses Sigmund~ and so far no luck. With or without Rosetta checked I still get the error message "sigmund~: could not load due to incorrect architecture".
I am on an M1 MacOS Monterey and with Max 8.3.1 running. Any ideas?
