Recording into Granularized max example patch

Hi I am quite new to Max but I am wanting to record samples at various time intervals to different buffers within multiple granularized patches. (so each granular synth/sampler is processing a different sample taken at different time / with different playback processing).

I also then want to out put the sound from the granular synths to a mc channel to make the sound richer and so I am able to spatialize the sound.

I have tried to record to a buffer called 'livesample' and changed the name of the buffer/variable within the granularized patch however it is not working when I go to record a sound. If anyone could help me figure out the reason why or help that would be amazing!
