I have a patch which constantly exports videostills from a webcam. Then it loads random stills from the past.

Now I can see a slow but constant increase in memory usage which finally (after hours) leads to a crash. I think the reason is "sprintf", which somehow stores numbers or even pictures into ram...

Is there a workaround or a way to clean the memory?
