Hi is there an object that store a number and output it when a new number is received ?

It's not the same without the [t i b] or [t f b] ?

[i] and [f] do not store and output the values when just sent to the 1st inlet ?

 OP wants the previous number to be output when a new one is received. That's why [t i b] or [t f b] are here. First you bang the object to output the previously saved number, then you store the current value using the right inlet to avoid causing output.

aka shift register. sebastien´s method is perfectly right, it cant get any simpler.
