Stripes in Vizzie video + bad quality jit.vcr recording
Hi all,
I have two questions about a patch I'm working on.
The project incorporates a video treated with Vizzie objects and an audio file.
Question 1: Where do the many stripes in my video come from and how could I eliminate them? Is it inherent to the Vizzie PANNR?

Question 2: The video quality in Max is splendid, but the recordings I make with jit.vcr are a lot worse. What could I do to improve the rendered video quality?
It is one of the first times I work with video in Max, so it could be I have some bad settings for my objects.
Thanks in advance for your answer(s),
Eveline
(My audio and video files are too big to send, but I hope you can help me anyway.)
The stripes are the result of you using clip for the mode setting in the PANNR modules.
You should investigate using Syphon for the purposes of recording.

And using the abstraction versions of the modules would allow you to save a little space (and move everything to a top level where adding UI controls would be easier.
Thanks, Max! By using the abstractions, my CPU was a lot less overloaded and the recordings are now of good quality.
I started using Syphon + BlackHole for the recordings.
