I want to share a freely downloadable M4L MIDI Effect device pair I created that I've found to be extremely useful, but am not exactly sure where I should announce it on this website. I must admit I'm a bit flustered by the different venues: New Project, New Tool, the forums... And when I go to New Project, for example, some of the fields aren't clear to me (what's the difference between "Location of Project" and "Project URL"?).

Please forgive my inexperience with this site, and provide a newbie with information regarding the appropriate place to announce new M4L devices.

FYI, here's the info. The two devices comprise a sender-receiver pair, which together provide the ability to send relative pitch transpositions from one track and apply those transpositions nondestructively in realtime to the output of MIDI clips on other tracks. In other words, the device pair lets you play key changes from a sender track, to transpose multiple receiver tracks on the fly.

I think you should post it as a tool, or simply start a new thread starting with "[sharing]", which is also a much used, non-official way to share tools here on this forum.

Projects are usually used to report performances or events, hence the "location" field in the form, which usually refers to a physical location.
