I have an nvidia geforce 750m gpu, but it feels like I am not getting the performance I would hope/expect.

I am trying to play a couple of videos and then apply some processing with shaders.

I have set ableton to use the gpu in the nvidia configuration utility. Is there a separate max/max4live runtime that also needs to be set up in this way?

Or should all the fancy max/jitter use the GPU by dint of it working in ableton?
