(I am new to Max. Someone was kind enough to share their Max Patch with me.)

When I open the Mira app on my iPad it causes Max 7.1 to crash. I had tried this with the previous versions 7 and 6 too. Same result. Looking through the folders I found that all three Mira patches do this. So I attached the smallest one and a screen capture of the error. To clarify. the Mira app doesn't crash, it's Max 7.1 which is crashing. But only after Mira connects to it.

Being new, I tried the mira.frame example patch and that too causes Max 7.1 to crash. I just upgraded my iPad to ios 9.3 but I don't think that matters. This was happening before I upgraded.

The Mira app was expensive. Does the example patch work for anyone else?

p.s. what I thought was causing Mira to crash before trying the example patch were JS Painter Files. But after seeing the example tutorial patch for mira.frame crash Max 7.1 I'm not so sure.

No reply? Does Mira still work (with patches using JS Painter Files)? Someone please try the mira.frame example, which is the Mira example found in Max 7.1. What example are you referring to? jspainter is not supported with Mira.

The "hi" example and the "swatch" example, though today it only crashed a couple times and now it is working. But I just tried the Xbox 360 patch and when I double clicked and typed "mira.frame" it caused Max to crash as soon as it connected. I'm not sure if there are any JS Painter Files in the patch

Tom, from the email ticket, suggested a clean install. I am just wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

I'm sorry, I forgot in the last reply. It's the example you get when you "Alt" double click on "mira.frame".

For example, when I do this it crashes. Mira app is already open. Open "New Patcher", then double click and type "mira.frame" enter, then hold the "Alt" key and double click on it. The mira.frame help example opens in another window. Unlock, then copy and paste that to the other window after deleting "mira.frame" object. Now delete the existing mira.frame and then double click and add it back. If it hasn't already crashed then it has crashed after doing that.
