Two standalone apps can't share audio driver, how send audio from one to the other?

Currently having the dilemma that I want to run two MaxMSP standalone apps on the same computer, and both should send audio to the Dante amplifiers via the Dante Virtual Soundcard driver. But once I select the driver in the second app, it tells me "Dante Virtual Soundcard is already in use".

How would I be able to send audio signals from one app (maybe using a standard Windows driver like ad_mme in order to be able to process audio signals) to the other app (that one using the Dante Virtual Soundcard driver) which would then output the audio channels for both apps?

Already stumbled over ReWire, but that one seems to require Ableton Live to even be installed?
