I'm trying to use the [xml.parse] object, but I get this (screenshot) error when I make it. Any ideas on how to get around this/fix it? I've also attached a screenshot of the inside of the xml.parse object. I'm running MacOS Sierra and updated my Java Runtime Environment to the latest version yesterday before rebooting and trying again.

Are you running Max in 64 bit? There is no "latest Java" for 32 bit on Mac

Thanks for the reply, how do I check what bit version I'm running, and how do I change that?

Got it! Just needed to uncheck open in 32 bit under Get Info.
